(Cattleya guttata ‘Paul’ HCC/AOS x Cattleya bicolor ‘Calliope’ HCC/AOS)
Fragrant, spotted bifoliate Cattleya. Primary hybrid of award-winning cultivars of C. guttata and C. bicolor. Blooms are waxy and substantive with spotted brown petals and a bright pink lip.
Grown from seed.
Plants Available: The plant available is the plant pictured—tall, with longest growth roughly 30” from top of pot to flower. Blooms are shown near peak in late August.
Orchid Care: Grow in bright indirect light with moderate humidity and good air circulation. Water generously during active growth but ensure roots dry between waterings. Plants may be potted or mounted. For potted plants, we recommend an open, freely-draining bark mix that dries easily.
