Pcv. Golden Peacock
Pcv. Golden Peacock
(Bc. Richard Mueller × Prosthechea vitellina)
She’s back, baby! Golden Peacock is a real fan favorite among lovers of the B. nodosa and Bc. Richard Mueller hybrids. This variety, which blooms in sprays of bright orange star-shaped flowers, owes its vibrant color to its Psh. vitellina. When combined with Bc. Richard Mueller, this parentage makes for an adaptable and warm/hot temperature tolerant plant.
Though young plants may bloom 1-2 times per year, mature individuals are free-flowering and can bloom quite frequently.
‘Orange Beauty’ mericlone.
Plants Available: Growing in 3" and 4” pots, blooming-size. An example of the 4” Pot option is pictured.

For potted plants, use an open, freely draining medium. (Plants in this intial release (Summer 2024), should not be repotted/mounted for 1-2 years.) Fertilize weakly, weekly.
