Den. Fancy Angel
Den. Fancy Angel
(Den. Upin Red × Den. Cassiope)
'Lychee’ mericlone.
The flowers of this variety are light pink and white with a yellow center. Fragrant.
Easy to grow, great for mounting and landscaping in temperate to subtropical climes.
Plants typically bud/bloom in February or March.
Plants Available: Growing in 4” Pots. An example of the size available is pictured. Orders will be filled with plants in bud or bloom as blooming stock permit; otherwise, mature plants that have bloomed previously.
Orchid Care: Grow in bright indirect light. Plants can be acclimated to direct sun, but will thank you if you give them shade during the hottest hours of the day (typically 11-3). Great for mounting on most palms. Water and fertilize regularly during active growth, but give plants a dry rest in the cooler months. At our nursery, this is typically from Thanksgiving through early February/March.
Note: Nobile-type Dendrobiums are deciduous—you can expect them to drop leaves during their rest period. Plants require a cool, dry rest in fall/winter to initiate flowering.
