Den. Hawaiian Punch
Den. Hawaiian Punch
(Den. Norma Jackson x Den. Blue Twinkle)
If you’re new to Antelope Dendrobiums and looking to try your hand at this twisty-petaled pack of plants, Den. Hawaiian Punch is the perfect place to start. This classic hybrid is easy to grow and bloom and can really make a splash as a tropical yard orchid (given the right grow zone). Typically produces multiple bloomspikes per bloom period once mature.
Grown from seed so flower will vary somewhat from plant to plant. The large bloom spikes pictured first are examples from mature plants. The smaller spike is the first bloom from a younger plant.
Easy to grow and bloom and a great orchid for the patio, yard, or landscaping in subtropical environs. Plants can take on significant stature over time.
Plants Available: Growing in 2” and 4” pots. Plants in 2” pots are ready for potting in 4” and are roughly two years from first bloom. The plant pictured in is an example of the 4” Pot option, which is a blooming-size plant. The 4” Pot - Mature option is a plant in spike/flower or a plant which has flowered previously.
Orchid Care: Grow in very bright indirect light with strong air circulation and moderate to high humidity. Some direct sun early or late in the day is okay. Water heavily while plants are in active growth. Reduce water and fertilizer somewhat during the cooler months, but continue to provide bright light during this time.
