Den. Lowana Nioka
(Dendrobium canaliculatum × Dendrobium antennatum)
Primary hybrid of the miniature antelope-type species Den. canaliculatum and Den. antennatum. This cross produces flowers of yellow and white, with pink to purple striations on the lip.
Grown from seed, so flower characteristics vary somewhat from plant to plant.
Plants available: Growing in 4” pots.An example of the size available is pictured. Orders will be filled with plants in spike/bud/bloom; otherwise mature plants, previously bloomed.
Orchid Care: Grow in bright, indirect light. Some direct sun is okay—particularly in the morning and/or outside the most intense hours of the day. Water and fertilize generously while plants are actively growing in spring and summer, but allow roots and potting media to dry out in between. Reduce water and fertilization with shorter day length and cooler temperatures. Protect from temperatures below 60F.
