‘Yellow Mind’ mericlone.

Den. nobile hybrid—a soft-caned, pendulous, and deciduous group of Dendrobiums.

The flowers of this variety are yellow with a slight pink flare on the petals. Blooms become more golden when grown in high light.

Easy to grow, great for mounting and landscaping in temperate to subtropical climes. The plant pictured is an example of this variety naturalized on a palm trunk.

Blooms in the spring.

Plants Available: Growing in 4” Pots. An example of the 4” Pot option currently available is pictured.

Orchid Care: Grow in bright indirect light. Plants can be acclimated to direct sun, but will thank you if you give them shade during the hottest hours of the day (typically 11-3). Great for mounting on most palms. Water and fertilize regularly during active growth, but give plants a dry rest in the cooler months. At our nursery, this is typically from Thanksgiving through early March.

Note: Nobile-type Dendrobiums are deciduous—you can expect them to drop leaves during their rest period. Plants require a cool, dry rest in fall/winter to initiate flowering.
