Den. Miva Abracadabra
Den. Miva Abracadabra
(Dendrobium atroviolaceum × Dendrobium polysema)
Primary hybrid of the fuzzy-flowered Den. polysema and the compact Den. atroviolaceum. Blooms in sprays of several white and cream-colored flowers. The outer petals, which enclose the flower when in bud, are spotted and covered with tiny hairs on the backside. Lateral petals are white and typically without hairs or spots.
Blooms in fall and spring, with flowers that last for several weeks.
Grown from seed.
Plants Available: Growing in 4” and 5” pots. An example of the 4” Pot option is pictured. Orders will be filled with plants in spike/bud/bloom as blooming season and stock permit. Otherwise mature plants that have bloomed previously.
Orchid Care: Grow in bright, indirect light and moderate humidity. Plants should be watered generously during active growth (spring and summer). Reduce water and fertilizer somewhat during the cooler months after new growths have matured.
