Den. Tianmu Rose

Den. Tianmu Rose
(Den. Gold Diamond × Den. Tianmu Green Elf)
Den. nobile hybrid—a soft-caned, pendulous, and semi-deciduous group of Dendrobiums. Easy to grow, great for mounting and landscaping in temperate to subtropical climes.
The flowers of this variety are creamy white with a prominent lavender picotee and yolky yellow throat. Buds form at the joints of the canes in clusters that produce sweetly fragrant flowers.
Den. Tianmu Rose is a compact-growing hybrid. Plants are typically shorter and bushier than many other nobile hybrids.
Blooms in the spring.
Plants Available: Mature plants growing in 5” pots. Orders will be filled with plants in bud/bloom as blooming stock permits.
Orchid Care: Grow in bright indirect light. Plants can be acclimated to direct sun, but will thank you if you give them shade during the hottest hours of the day (typically 11-3). Great for mounting on most palms. Water and fertilize regularly during active growth, but give plants a dry rest in the cooler months.
Note: Nobile-type Dendrobiums are deciduous—you can expect them to drop leaves during their rest period. Plants require a cool, dry rest in fall/winter to initiate flowering. Do not fertilize during the rest period.
