Yellow-flowered Oncidium species with distinctive tortoiseshell-like pseudobulbs. Blooms in the spring.

Grown from seed.

Plants Available: Growing in 3” and 4” pots. Plants in 3” pots are near blooming-size. Plant in 4” pots are blooming-size or mature. Examples of the sizes available are pictured.

Orchid Care: Grow in diffused light with moderate to high humidity and strong air circulation. Plants grown in overly high light will respond with discolored leaves (yellow mottling). Younger plants, those suitable for growing in 4” pots, grow well in moss. We recommend mounting plants as they mature and outgrow this pot size. Large, mature plants can also be gainfully established in baskets. Should you need to grow them potted, switch from moss to bark mix when potting up into 6” pots or larger.
