Care: Grow in bright light and high humidity. Plant must dry out between waterings, but will dry quickly in the hotter months of the summer. Daily watering may be necessary in the summer, depending on the potting medium used.

Note on bifoliate Cattleya species: Do not repot, mount, or divide plants before they have put out new growth and roots. Bifoliates disturbed outside of their growing season often decline or fail to thrive. So wait for your plant to initiate new roots before you repot and it will thank you.
