Formosae/nigrohirsute-type Dendrobium hybrid. Evergreen with long-lasting flowers.

Plants Available: Tall, mature plants in 6” pots. In bud/flower as blooming season and stock permit. Otherwise previously bloomed plants. The full-size plants pictured exemplify the size of plant you will receive when you order.

Orchid Care: Grow in very bright light. Keep slightly moist in spring and summer while plants are actively growing. If potted in an open mix, you can even grow them alongside your Vandas, watering daily. Unlike deciduous Dens, formosae types like these do not require a rest period, though you may reduce water and fertilizer somewhat during the cooler months, commensurate with light and temperature conditions. Plants should be tight in their pots.
