Dyakia hendersoniana

Dyakia hendersoniana
Syn. Ascocentrum hendersonianum
Miniature vandaceous species that blooms in a head of tiny pink flowers. Fragrant. Plants stay small—between 3-4” tall—but will bush like Ascocentrums as they mature.
Plants Available: Limited stock. Plants are growing in 3” pots. An example from the group currently available is pictured.
Orchid Care: A heavy drinker—water generously while plants are in active growth, but ensure roots dry quickly. Dy. hendersoniana thrives in high humidity (85-90%). Mounting is a good option in humid climes so long as plants are watered (or rained on) daily in the summer months. Otherwise pot in well-draining, chunky substrate. Grow in dappled to indirect bright light with good air circulation.
