Indigenous to Brazil, though virtually extinct in nature. Plants require bright light, high humidity, and good air circulation. Grow in open, fast-draining media (e.g. coarse bark, LECA) and a container or mount that will likewise allow roots to dry out quickly (e.g. wooden basket, cork slab, or driftwood). Roots that remain wet for prolonged periods are susceptible to rot.
