Paph. Payakka Kodkod
Paph. Payakka Kodkod
(Paphiopedilum thaianum × Paphiopedilum concolor)
Primary hybrid of Paph. thaianum and Paph. concolor. A tiny little guy, about the height of a milk carton from the bottom of the pot to the tip of the flower. Typically blooms in summer.
Grown from seed, so flower characteristics vary somewhat from plant to plant.
Plants Available: Growing in 2” pots. The plant pictured is an example of the size currently available. Orders will be filled with plants in bud or bloom as blooming season and stock permit.
Orchid Care: Grow in shade/diffused light and provide monsoon-like conditions. Plants should be kept evenly moist during spring and summer, with slight drying allowed in the cooler months. The growing environment should include constant air movement and may benefit from use of a humidity tray. A cool, somewhat dry winter is necessary for plants to bloom the next year.
