Paphiopedilum richardianum

Paphiopedilum richardianum
('Paul' x 'Purple Heart')
Subgenus: Pardalopetalum
Multifloral Paph. species, once considered a variety of Paph. lowii with which it shares many characteristics. A more compact-growing slipper than its lowii relative.
Grown from seed.
Plants Available: Mature plants growing in 4” pots. The 4” Pot - Lg option is a plant with two fans or growths. Orders will be filled with plants in spike/bud/bloom as available per blooming season and stock; otherwise, mature plants which have bloomed previously.
Orchid Care: Grow in bright but shaded conditions, no direct sun. Light levels should be akin to that of a shaded outdoor space illuminated by a clear blue sky. Plants may be cultivated indoors or outdoors and will adapt to a range of temperatures but should be protected from temperatures below 50F. Grow potted and keep moist but not soggy. Humidity trays are a useful aid for this.
