Primary hybrid of lady slipper species Phrag. kovachii and Phrag. longifolium.

Grown from seed, so flower characteristics and color may vary somewhat from plant to plant.

Plants Available: Growing in 4”/5” pots. Choose from mature plants (those in spike/bud/bloom or which have flowered previously) or the specific plant pictured.

Orchid Care: Grow potted in bright, filtered light with good air circulation and keep moist. Phrag. kovachii and its hybrids require frequent and regular watering. Plants should not dry out between waterings. In nature, Phrag. kovachii grows in a slightly alkaline substrate. Add limestone and oyster shells to your potting mix to increase the alkalinity and availability of calcium and magnesium to the root system. Repot annually.
