Coerulea form of Cattleya species, C. bowringiana (Syn. Guarianthe bowringiana)
Closely related to Cattleya skinneri/Guarianthe skinneri from which it differs by bloom period—bowringiana blooms in fall.
Grown from seed, so flower characteristics may vary from plant to plant. Flower pictures are not currently available for this grex.
Plants Available: Growing in 4” and 6” pots. The 4” Pot is pictured.
Orchid Care: Grow potted in medium-high light (bright, indirect). Provide moderate humidity and good air circulation. Water generously during active growth, but plants should be allowed to dry out between waterings. We recommend potting plants with a medium-large aggregate bark mix that drains freely.
