Cattleya Comet's Tail-tigrina

Cattleya Comet's Tail-tigrina
(C. Comet’s Tail ‘5 Tales’ [4N] x C. tigrina ‘Xint’ [4N])
Spotty, spotty, spotty. This hybrid is a trifecta of spotted Cattleya species C. aclandiae, C. guttata, and C. tigrina. Petals are pink-tinged honey brown overlaid with dark brown spots with a vibrant pink skirt for a lip. Fragrant.
Grown from seed, so flower characteristics will vary somewhat from plant to plant.
Plants Available: Growing in 4” pots (blooming-size). Examples of the size available are pictured.
Orchid Care: Grow potted or mounted. Plants require bright indirect light. Water generously during active growth (spring, summer). Plants should dry between waterings. As with bifoliate Catts, repotting/mounting is best done only while plants are putting out new growth and present active roots. Do not disturb after the newest growths have matured.
