Cattleya Mareeba Tiger
(Cattleya leopoldii f. coerulea × Cattleya schilleriana f. coerulea)
This cross is the product of two coerulea Cattleya species—Cattleya leopoldii (Syn. C. tigrina) and Cattleya schilleriana. Plants are bifoliate with fragrant, spotted flowers.
Grown from seed, so flower characteristics will vary somewhat from plant to plant. Blooms from two individuals are pictured.
Plants Available: Growing in 3” pots (near blooming-size) and 4” pots (blooming-size). Examples of the 3” Pot and 4” Pot option is pictured.
Orchid Care: Grow potted or mounted. Plants require bright indirect light. Water generously during active growth (spring, summer). Plants should dry between waterings. As with bifoliate Catts, repotting/mounting should be done only while plants are actively growing . Do not disturb after the newest growths have matured.
