Ctt. Rojo
(Guarianthe aurantiaca × Cattleya milleri)
Primary hybrid of orange and red Cattleya species. Blooms in a cluster of fiery star-shaped flowers—a bouquet of bright reds with orange undertones and golden yellow throat dotted in red.
Typically blooms in February.
‘Valentine’s Day’ mericlone.
Plants Available: Growing in 4” pots. Plants are blooming-size with the first of the crop coming into spike in early 2024. Examples of the size of plant available are pictured. Orders will be filled with plants in spike/bloom as blooming season and blooming stock permit.
Orchid Care: Grow in high light—bright, but indirect. Provide strong air circulation and moderate humidity in the growing area. Allow plants to dry thoroughly between waterings. Mature plants are good candidates for mounting, though this variety can also be grown potted. Fertilize weakly, weekly.
