Rlc. Digbyano-Purpurata
Rlc. Digbyano-Purpurata
(Rhyncholaelia digbyana × Cattleya purpurata)
Primary hybrid of L. purpurata and Rl. digybana. White petals, pink frilly lip. Blooms become more pink when grown in higher light. Fragrant.
Grown from seed so flower characteristics vary somewhat from plant to plant. Flowers from three separate plants are pictured.
Plants Available: The plant available is the 6” Pot - XL option pictured.
Orchid Care: Grow in bright light with strong air circulation and high humidity. Plants tolerate very bright light, with some direct sun in the morning okay. Plants should be watered generously while actively growing, but roots must be allowed to dry out between waterings. Do not keep dry for extended periods. Potting rather than mounting is recommended for this variety to better accommodate its stature.
