Cute, cute, cute! dwarf species whose flowers tend to dwarf the plant itself, L. pumila is adorable and easy to grow.

Care: Grow in bright light and high humidity, with good air circulation. Water heavily during active growth (spring and summer), but ensure roots dry rapidly after. Reduce water in the cooler months, just as plants would get less rain in their natural habitat. Mount plants or pot them in a mid-large aggregate Cattleya mix, tree fern chunks, or wine corks.
Note: Tolerant of a range of temperatures, from short periods near-freezing to hot and tropical.
