Den. QF Mauka
Den. QF Mauka
(Den. Kaila Quintal x Dendrobium polysema)
Blooms in clusters of several cream-colored flowers with heavily spotted petals. Spots are thickly textured—even hairy—owing to the species ancestors of this variety.
Den. QF Mauka is easy to grow and bloom and particularly rewarding when in flower, with each new growth producing a bloom spike of numerous nodding flowers that typically last from 8-12 weeks. May bloom in fall and spring.
Grown from seed.
Plants Available: Growing in 4” and 6” pots. Orders will be filled with plants in spike/bud/bloom as blooming season and stock permit. Otherwise mature plants that have bloomed previously.
Orchid Care: Grow in bright, indirect light and moderate humidity. Plants should be watered generously during active growth (spring and summer). Reduce water and fertilizer somewhat during the cooler months after new growths have matured. But do not provide a dry rest.
