Oncidium splendidum
Synonym: Trichocentrum splendidum
A “mule-ear” oncidium species.
Plants Available: Mature plants, mounted on driftwood.
Orchid Care: Grow in bright, indirect light. Water frequently during active growth (typically spring-early fall), but make sure roots can dry out rapidly. Reduce water during cooler months.
Plants are often described as cool to intermediate growers, but can tolerate a range of temperatures if acclimated. (Ours are quite used to the Florida summers.)
