(Calanthe Rozel × Phaius tankervilleae)

Semi-terrestrial Phaiocalanthe hybrid with an inflorescence of vibrant magenta flowers. Generally easy to grow.

Mericlone.

Plants Available: Growing in 4” pots. An examples of the 4” Pot - Standard option is shown. Orders will be filled with plants in spike/bud/bloom as blooming stock permits; otherwise mature plants, previously bloomed.

Orchid Care: Grow in bright shade in intermediate/warm conditions (i.e., night temperatures between 58F and 75F). Plants should be watered regularly when actively growing and should not be allowed to dry out between waterings. After plants have flowered, allow slight drying between watering until new growths appear.

Phcals have lovely broad foliage whose thin, pleated leaves can burn easily if plants are grown too bright and dry. It is common and normal for foliage to yellow and drop on matured growths. These leaves can be pruned from the plant just above the pseudobulb.
